Fae trap is centered around two characters: Nyxia and Leshi, both on a mission to get familiar with your insides-
It's up to you to decide in what way.
FaeTrap is a primarily character-focused game with high replay value, featuring plenty of routes and an overarching plot, lore and secrets to be found~!
It has customizable naming and pronouns and two ¨ love interests" (a term I use very loosely). This version features Nyxia's route only, containing one "good" ending, two bad endings and many, many in-betweens. Additionally, there are a few Leshi-focused endings and some special routes for you to find~
«What is planned»
* There will be one route for Nyxia, one for Leshi and one shared route. Currently, Leshi's route is the one being developed. The full release will also feature a mild rehaul of certain scenes for Nyxia's route, less blank screens and more interactive and optimized content. This version is more so a proof of concept;
*The game is currently available in English and French, and I plan on adding a PTBR version in the future;
* There is currently no support for mobile (the bazillion shaders make performance reeeally bad), but I'm working on it!

The writing is SO good, it really pulled me in, especially because of how well developed the story is. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous and very captivating to look at. Seriously, Nyxia is sooo handsome, I love him. I cried at the ending... my poor baby </3. It was so beautiful, yet so bittersweet at the same time. I wish we could have stayed together forever.

I know this likely won’t be seen but holy hell this game is amazing! The story, the art, the characters themselves are so fleshed out despite it being just a demo! Can I ask how things are going development wise? As it doesn’t show any update in a few months now

As for development, I mainly post things on my tumblr, but I'm still going strong! I will *try* to update the game again on August, releasing the complete shared route and the start of Leshi's . yup, I did, here's the answer I gave: "Hello! I’m trying to finish the shared route + the beggining of Leshi’s until late August of this year. Leshi’s entire route will be released after, I don’t have an exact date but I’ll try to finish still within this year! Thank you so much for the support!", can you see it?

Hi Faeelure! Thank you so much for creating this amazing game, Nyxia is such an incredible, deeply fascinating character and I’m completely obsessed with his design and personality! Your explanation about the lore and his dynamic with Leshi makes so much sense. It really shows how much thought you put into their psychological mind games. It’s devastating to see him struggle in the bad ending, but it just proves how complex of a character he is. Thank you again for your hard work, you did an amazing job! :3

I played this game without reading the description and without knowing much about it. Someone recommended it and I'm glad I listened. This is the FIRST game that has me in tears! It was short and not many options were giving and regardless of that the emotional pain that I am in is remarkable. Beautiful work, a true master piece.

i'm totally in love with this game, the best i've played so far. There are a lot of cgs, animation, deep characters, a lot of endings and choices, and very present decay points. I love when the choices REALLY have impact on the way the character will interact with us. You put such effort on this game, and..how can i say? im inspired, delighted, idk, i don't know much words in english that can describe how i feel towards your wonderful work! I mean, and you are even planning on translating to portuguese! I would help you if i knew coding and etc lol. I love nyxia and i cried out of rage bc of leshi. I really wish you all the best things, really. I will totaly donate if you plan on creating a ko-fi

I love the characters and the story so far, but the constant background animation is too much for my shitty laptop :( it can barely run the game, and it takes minutes just to get to the next text. any way i can fix this? i would really love to play this game to the end without getting a better laptop ;(
Hii! I can see how the background movement could be taxing on an older build, and it makes the game run poorly on mobile too. I was planning on adapting it to mobile, and I’d remove a lot of the VFX for that. Making it wouldn’t be difficult at all, so I might make a prototype and release it on itch before the next update. But, in the future, I do plan on releasing a more optimized version!

I've always been kind of scared to comment bcs my opinions would probably be trashed but I'M IN LOVE with Laurel and wonder if there will ever be content of her appearing again?? Bcs I've been trying to find her arts(whether official or not) or even just a glimpse of sprites but I couldn't. I REALLY REALLY REALLY love her^^ and I wanted her pictures, anything about her. No pressure though, sorry if that's a bad thing to ask :')

There is not much content on Laurel, but I do plan on making a little special storyline for her the same way I did for Nyxia. It should come out in the next update, and I want to make it more lighthearted.

It's interesting that Leshi tried to get in the way of our relationship with Nyxia, but at the same time he was the one who didn't let Nyxia kill us in the 'happy' ending. Honestly, that felt like Nyxia didn't genuinely care about MC because only Leshi could get through to him. Like we are a tool, a distraction to break the toxic attachment between the two of them. Even in the end we see his name in the dialogue along with the question about MC being useful to Nyxia :(
Even though the moment was very touching, I really thought he'd say 'I love you... as a pet' :)
